Author Archives: Jeremy Walsh

Jeremy Walsh is the editorial director of Embarcadero Media Foundation's East Bay Division, including the Pleasanton Weekly, LivermoreVine.com and DanvilleSanRamon.com. He joined the organization in late 2013, two days after returning from his honeymoon. After serving as associate editor, he was promoted to editor in early 2017.

With primary duties focused on editing stories for the websites and daily Express emails as well as overseeing the Pleasanton Weekly print edition and leading the editorial department, Jeremy fills in on a variety of news coverage as needed -- notable topics such as the Pleasanton Costco saga, serious breaking news, public agency investigations and court cases.

Jeremy also pens a weekly column, What a Week, which debuted in 2021; serves on the Editorial Board, including writing editorial comments; and is part of the division's award-winning candidate forum moderator team.

A Benicia native who studied journalism at American University in Washington, D.C. (Class of 2010), Jeremy is a big Bay Area sports fan, enjoys movies and is an avid golfer. He lives in Pleasant Hill with his wife and son.
